Eli McMullen

Eli McMullen is a painter based in Richmond, Virginia. He received his BFA in Painting & Printmaking from VCU in 2015. From 2015-2019 Eli co-operated Endeavor Studios, an artist collective studio in Jackson Ward that hosts First Friday exhibitions of local visual and performative artists. Eli’s paintings explore ephemeral, nostalgic-like moments that accentuate light qualities and psychedelic subtleties embedded in the world around us. Finding inspiration while wandering the local landscapes, he searches for motifs that harmonize our natural environments and the human made structures immersed within them.
