Nils Westergard

Nils (b. 1992) is a nomadic Belgian-American street artist and filmmaker from Richmond, Virginia. Starting with graffiti and stencils at an early age he later worked on a stage crew painting theatrical backdrops and ultimately attended VCU to study Film in 2010. Upon graduation he travelled extensively throughout Europe painting murals as he went and ultimately joined the Amsterdam based Multi-Syndicate Crew. These days he splits his time between the home-bases of Amsterdam and his beloved Richmond. His bold, dripping, murals and immensely intricate, hand-cut, stencil work can be found on walls indoors and out around the world.
